Empty Bowls Project

The Empty Bowls Project is the largest fundraising event of the year for Good Samaritan Ministries. For a $10 ticket, diners can choose a hand-painted ceramic bowl to take home and then enjoy a simple dinner of soup, water and crackers. All of the money raised at the event goes to fight hunger! Ninety percent of the proceeds stays in Brown County for the hunger ministries of GSM: the Food Pantry, Food for Thought Program, the Deer Project, the Pig Project, Homeless Food Boxes, Homebound Program and the Mobile Food Pantry. Ten percent will be tithed to an international hunger relief agency.
